I play field hockey for my club Bull City. I have been playing for about two years now. I started playing because I had some friends who were playing and they told me to come to some group lessons with them. I picked up my stick for the first time and I instantly loved it! I have been playing ever since. 

The sixth grade at Durham Academy went to camp Kirkwood. We drove straight in to a tropical storm! Once we got out of the bus we had to take all of are bags and run in the pouring rain to a huge pavilion. After that we had to run to our cabins and get ready.That night we played dodgeball and watched a movie we played girls v boys and the girls DOMINATED.

The food was interesting I would give it a 2/5 they worked really hard it was just not enough to go around. But the best part were the activities! We did a V swing and had time at there pool also a zip line and lots of other super fun activities. If you don’t know what a V swing is it is basically a big swing that you get pulled up and then you pull a rope and DROP and you go swinging it is awesome!! The zip line was also amazing we got to go over a lake and see all the canoes and all your friends paddling.

The pool was super fun because we were there for two hours. And we could swim and play games. We also took a super cool photo of a lot of the girls jumping in the water.
